(Orlando FL) American Idol Season 11 had arguably one of the most talented batch of singers competing for the coveted top 10, in the show's history. The soulful Joshua Ledet made me remember my days of living in the bayou state of Louisiana. The energy of Colton Dixon as he would sing his power ballads would drive the girls in the audience wild. Phillip Phillips is this generation's Dave Matthews. Our favorite throughout the season though was Jessica Sanchez whose innocence and humility in each show came out even during the meet and greet. Alongside Jessica was fellow top 10-finalist / boyfriend, Deandre Brackensick, and Jessica's mother. The show itself was full of mesmerizing harmonies, dance routines, and songs sung throughout the competition.
