For starters: the venue. This show is housed on the lawn of arguably one of Orlando's most expensive / most exclusive resorts: the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. The marriage of some of the most rare automotive beauties in the world mixed together with one of the best-kept landscapes in central Florida lent itself to a testosterone-driven, adrenaline-junkie's dream!
The show itself featured more than 300 of the most exclusive exotic cars, motorcycles, and watercraft to ever make their way this side of the I-4 -- Aston-Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes, McLaren, and Porsche showcased some of their most prized collections along the back lawn of the glitzy resort, which was displayed in a reserved area exclusive only to Festivals of Speed attendees.
Walking amidst the high-end offerings made you feel like you were part of a super-elite society, hob-knobbing with the jet-setters and trend-makers of the world. As you saw fully-suited men donning white gloves carefully displaying the $60,000 Tag Heuer watches for passersby, or having smelled fancy cigars being lit up in the distance, your every sense was convinced that you were walking amidst some of the richest people in the Southeast.
I've enjoyed many very special car shows here in central Florida, but Festivals of Speed is certain to quickly transport you into a very elite class of autoshows that very few others will ever be able to access.
